Tommy Novak ended Hermantown’s hopes of a monumental upset and allowed St. Thomas Academy to skate off with its third consecutive — and final — Minnesota Class A boys hockey state title by scoring with 6.1 seconds remaining this afternoon at Xcel Energy Center.
