It was common for Cristyna Watson to run to Duluth to shop, said her mother, Laurie Snaza. That’s what the 25-year-old Floodwood woman was planning to do the last time Snaza saw her daughter on Sept. 8.
A Duluth man whom authorities identified as a Native Mob gang member is being held in the Carlton County Jail and is expected to be charged next week with the murder of a 25-year-old Floodwood woman, authorities said.
The Floodwood Business and Community Partnership members would like to share another perspective than the one presented in the front-page article Nov. 17 (right), “Tight economy pushes small town to brink.” Our community is not necessarily “on the brink.”
