In August, a group of volunteers from Duluth traveled to Antigua, Guatemala, on an eight-day volunteer trip with Common Hope, a nonprofit that works to educate children and empower families in Guatemala.

Ask a trooper: Cars must yield to pedestrians at crosswalks 
Q: I understand in Wisconsin that cars must stop for pedestrians in a crosswalk to let them cross. Does Minnesota have a similar law? I work at St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth and trying to cross Fourth Street at Fourth Avenue East is a nightmare.
