Ask a trooper: Cars must yield to pedestrians at crosswalks
Q: I understand in Wisconsin that cars must stop for pedestrians in a crosswalk to let them cross. Does Minnesota have a similar law? I work at St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth and trying to cross Fourth Street at Fourth Avenue East is a nightmare.

Halloween is a favorite holiday
Fall is my favorite time of year with all the colors and harvesting all the good stuff from the garden. Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. Unlike Christmas, there isn’t all the extra stress; it’s just plain fun! When we were kids we would go trick-or-treating all up and down Arrowhead Road and Woodland Avenue and we always made a haul!
