I love the holidays. I really do. I relish all that good feeling, peace on earth, the music, and especially that point a few days into winter break when chewing becomes altogether unnecessary and I just seem to absorb holiday cookies by osmosis. I think it’s fair to assume that most of the rest of the human race, whether it is by winter holiday, summer festival, or what have you, finds a particular joy in the celebration of special occasions. So I ask the question that most people ask at the end of a holiday, “Why is this ending?”
