Reader's view: Support same-sex marriage
In the Northland we live with certain absolutes, among them cold, long winters; Grandma’s Marathon; and great summer hiking. Another absolute is the respect and dignity we give each other every day, treating others as we’d want to be treated. That is what we stand for as labor unions, and that is why we support the freedom to marry for same-sex couples in Minnesota. We urge our Duluth legislative delegation to join us in our support.
