Love reigns in ‘Almost, Maine’
THEATER REVIEW: When discussing our first dueling reviews of 2013, my colleague Paul Brissett said he had read the script for “Almost, Maine,” the romantic comedy that opened at the Playhouse on Valentine’s Day night. He said it had a chance of being “charming as hell,” and it turns out he was right and I cannot improve on those three words to render a verdict on this show.

Baldrica elected president of Northern Lights Music Festival
Barbara Baldrica, long established in Virgina and on the Iron Range musical scene as co-president of Arrowhead Concert Association and past music director of East Range Choral Society, assumes the Northern Lights Music Festival board chairwoman position from Tom Gillach, festival co-founder and retired board president. Baldrica has been a member of the NLMF Board of Directors and has participated in some of the past operas along with other members of the ERCS.
