Synthetic drug abuse is deadly. Last June, an 18-year-old from Grand Forks, N.D., and a 17-year-old from Park Rapids, Minn., died from synthetic drugs. The drugs were made by a self-described “hobby chemist” who bought the synthetic drugs online from China and other countries.
