I found it amusing the News Tribune used “enlightened” in justifying our city library displaying reportedly “steamy” and “semi-pornographic” books on its shelves (Our View: “Steamy books test Duluth’s enlightenment,” June 11). While I’m certain some controversial books bring a measure of enlightenment, I’m just as certain “Fifty Shades of Grey” isn’t one of them. I haven’t read the book. The editorial’s brief description painted a picture of just another trashy publication.
