Rick Nolan complained of “not very thinly veiled threats” to his office over his support. Of course, he then said they were not really threats. But obviously he had to make a theatrical point on a cable channel known for its leftist inflammatory rhetoric.

I’ve always been taught to go to Webster’s Dictionary for the correct spellings, meanings and uses of words. So I consulted Webster’s for “assault weapon” because it has so frequently been in the news. I also looked up “clip” and “firearm magazine” and found they, like apples and oranges, are completely different from each other.
