The winter fishing seasons for stream trout in Minnesota lakes, as listed in the 2012 Minnesota fishing regulations synopsis, are incorrect. Changes were made during the 2012 state legislative session that went into effect Aug. 1, after the regulations booklet was available, said Tim Goeman, regional fisheries supervisor for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources in Grand Rapids.

Starting next year, hunting and trapping will be allowed in most Wisconsin state parks from Nov. 15 through Dec. 15 and from April 1 through the third spring turkey period, under a plan the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board approved Tuesday, according to a Department of Natural Resources news release.
