Reader’s view: You don’t need religion or God to be opposed to abortion
On a trip to Washington, D.C., a few years ago, I saw a poster in a metro station that stated, “You do not need God to hope, to care, to live, to love.” Remembering this, I wonder why people insist that religion is necessary to be a good person. Many folks are under the false assumption that without God or gods, everything is permissible.
