Reader's view: Enhanced gun regulations won’t lead to confiscation
After recent shooting tragedies, the issue of enhanced gun regulations must be dealt with in a speedy fashion. However, some conservatives continue to label enhanced control measures as an effort to attack the Second Amendment to the Constitution. This straw-man propaganda technique (misstating an opponent’s position and then destroying it to support one’s own position) causes fear and confusion. Instead, the issue is public safety.
