Reader’s view: Logical analysis can move us from under emotion’s cloud
I took interest in the March 10 letter, which was headlined, “You don’t need religion or God to be opposed to abortion.” I applaud the writer for his understanding of the issue aside from the religious viewpoint.

Reader’s view: You don’t need religion or God to be opposed to abortion
On a trip to Washington, D.C., a few years ago, I saw a poster in a metro station that stated, “You do not need God to hope, to care, to live, to love.” Remembering this, I wonder why people insist that religion is necessary to be a good person.
