When Wade Stadium was built, many jobs were created and the cost was fairly moderate. When Wade Stadium is renovated, I suspect a lot will be spent with a lot fewer jobs created. So it doesn’t really matter who pays for it.

The money should not be used for anything else and not switched to some mayoral pet project.
