The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources stocks about 241 lakes with stream trout or lake trout in St. Louis, Lake and Cook counties, plus more in other counties. Stream trout include brookies, rainbows, browns and splake. For a list of these lakes, along with specific stocking information, go to the DNR’s website at www.mndnr.gov, then go to “Fishing” and to “Trout Lakes.”

One area we have addressed closely in recent years is the consumer experience in buying tickets to live events. There is today a growing use of so-called “restricted” tickets as a means to foil scalpers.
