Health Notes: ‘Spa-like’ transitional care
Benedictine Health System and two other organizations plan to create transitional care centers that provide “a resort, spa-like environment.” As their name suggests, transitional care centers provide short-time care as patients make the transition between hospital care and their homes. A news release from Duluth-based Benedictine Health System and Twin Cities-based Allina Health and Presbyterian Homes & Services said they will seek to provide a “next-generation” level of care.
