Reader's view: Last Place on Earth an abomination, not nuisance
I just read the front page article about the Last Place on Earth (“Last Place on Earth deemed a ‘nuisance,’” Aug. 10). So now the city of Duluth has labeled it a “nuisance.” Well, that’s pretty tame, isn’t it? I’d call it an abomination, which my dictionary says is “anything that excites disgust, hatred or loathing.”
