Willow River Community Service Day a success
Students and teachers at Willow River School were doing great deeds during the fourth annual Community Service Day. Activities that took place in Moose Lake included bagging groceries at Marketplace for donations for the food shelf, ringing bells for the Salvation Army and spending time with nursing home residents. Activities held at the school were baking cookies for local businesses, making greeting cards for nursing home residents, helping in the elementary classrooms, writing letters to soldiers, making two wood picnic tables for the Willow River City Park and much more. Willow River School hopes to continue this tradition for many more years. It’s a great way to give back to the community that does so much for its students.
