Janice E. Mowbray, 69, of Cloquet, passed away Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014 at Community Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 15, 1944 in Duluth to Charles and Hulda (Soberg) Stewart.
She graduated from Denfeld High School. Janice was united in marriage to Wayne Mowbray on Nov. 3, 1962. They lived in Silver Bay for many years, and have lived in Cloquet for the past several years. Janice worked and was a member of the Whole Foods Co-op in Silver Bay and was an "artsy" woman who enjoyed needle point, knitting, crocheting, collectables, camping, fishing, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne; one son, David (Angie) Mowbray; two daughters, Dawn (Mark) Roberts and Deanna (Jason) Green; two sisters, Joyce (Ed) Anstett and Susan Peters; six grandchildren, Chris Roberts, Kira Roberts, Steven Riley, Amanda Riley, Tabitha Riley, and Dalton Mowbray; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014 until the 2 p.m. memorial service in Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet, followed with a luncheon in the fellowship room. See the family online guest book at www.nelsonfuneralcare.net
