Marjorie Ruelle Beer, 80 of Floodwood, Minn., passed away early Sunday morning, Jan. 12, 2014 at Edgewood Vista Assisted Living in Hermantown, Minn.
She was born March 21, 1933 in International Falls to George, Sr. and Bertha Ruelle.
Marjorie worked for M&O Paper Company, Boise Cascade and Kantor Electric between 1952 and 1986.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Beer; her parents; four brothers, Clarence (Gay) Ruelle, Rolland Ruelle, George Ruelle Jr. and Richard (Dick) Ruelle; four sisters, Mrs. Fred (Cecile) Glava, Mrs. Don (Mildred) Weekman, Mrs. George (Jeanette) Dilworth, Mrs. Carroll (Jean) Rogers and one grandson, Jason Lassila.
Marjorie is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Ray (Mary) Misner and Mrs. Eugene (Marlene) Skoglund; one brother, John Ruelle; two daughters; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren: daughter, Mrs. Jeffrey (Linda) Rapp, her children, Adam (Alyssa) Rapp, Brittany Rapp and Chris Rapp, great-grandchildren, Callen, Rielyn and Kinley Rapp; daughter, Mrs. Alan (Donna) Lassila, her children, Josh (Lori) Lassila, Bobbi (Mickey) Garthus, Jake (Tiffany) Lassila, great-grandchildren, Annabelle and William Garthus, Layla and Maverick Lassila.
She enjoyed doing fancy work, baking, gardening, fishing, jigsaw puzzles and attending her grandchildren's sporting events.
The family would like to thank her friend Ashley and Essentia Hospice for all their support.
VISITATION: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, in Green-Larsen Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 in St. Thomas Catholic Church, Int'l Falls.
