Arthur “Babe” Cusick, 90, died peacefully early Tuesday morning Jan. 7, 2014.
Art was born on Jan. 11, 1923 to Arthur and Grace Cusick in Grand Rapids, Minn.
Art went to school at Duluth Central, where he joined the Navy in 1941 and fought during World War II until 1945. After World War II he met the love of his life Joyce (White) they were soon married and started a family in Duluth, Art taught math and engineering at Duluth’s Vo-Tech. He worked as a draftsman at Zalk Josephs before he retired.
Art was preceded in death by, his loving wife; parents; daughter Sandy; one brother and four sisters.
He is survived by his sons, Mike (Kim), Casey (Mary), and Kevin (Inessa) Cusick, all of Duluth; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; five remaining brothers and sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
