Michael "Scotty" Shelton, passed away on Friday, Dec. 27, peacefully, surrounded by his family at Solvay Hospice House.
He was born to Al and Lorraine Shelton on Dec. 19, 1956 in Duluth.
Scotty spent his early years driving semi truck around the county. After many adventures driving truck, he decided to start a new adventure in log home building. He became a master craftsman of beautiful log homes, as owner of Lone Star Log Builders. Scott had a heart of gold, he was kind to everyone he met. He had a great passion for his family, The “Farm” and his pets.
Scotty was preceded in death by his parents Al and Lorraine.
Scotty is survived by Larry, Paul (Jeff) (Carole), Chris (Tammy), Alfred (Val), Roger, Cindy (Gary), Jim (Jodie), Dixie (Dale); many nieces and nephews and many close friends.
The Shelton family would like to express their great gratitude to the Solvay Hospice House staff for Scott’s excellent care.
VISITATION: 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, 2013 until the 3 p.m. memorial service in Cremation of Society of Minnesota.
