Ronald A. Bober, 53 of Brookston, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013.
He was born June 26, 1960 in Chisholm to Albert and Karen (Simpson) Bober.
Ron was a 1978 graduate of Albrook High School, and worked on the family farm while growing up. He attended the Hibbing Vo-tech and worked at Cummins in Hibbing, Minn., and then worked at Bud's Place in Floodwood. Ron was self-employed for many years and became a business owner of Bober Trucking. His most important accomplishment was his family. He enjoyed camping and taking many family trips.
Ron is survived by wife, Terry; children, Tiffany Bober, Tyler (Brielle Hendrickson) Bober and Tanner Bober; granddaughter Mackenzie Suonvieri; his parents; Albert and Karen Bober; brothers, Ralph (Michelle) Bober and Peter (Barbie) Bober; sister, Paulette (Greg) Lind; nephews and nieces, Brad Bober, Alex Bober, Sara Lind, Katie Lind, Matthew Bober, Marissa Bober, Nicky Fairless, Carolyn Lester, Christina Lester, Jeffery Lester, and Crystal Houle.
Ron was always willing to help anyone out and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
VISITATION: 11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013 until the 1 p.m. funeral service in the Arrowhead Town Hall in Brookston. The family has selected Nelson Funeral Care of Cloquet to assist them with arrangements. See the family online guestbook at www.nelsonfuneralcare.net
