Leo L. Swierceski, 84 of Cloquet, passed away Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013.
He was born Dec. 22, 1928 in Cloquet to Leonard and Rose (Jusczak) Swierceski.
Leo graduated from Cloquet Sr. High in 1946. He worked on the family farm all his life and operated their Lakeside Dairy business. He was a member of Future Farmers of America. Leo was a member of the former St. Casimir's Catholic Church, now Queen of Peace Catholic Church. He was a very caring person who loved gardening, his flowers, and had a very picturesque farm west of Cloquet.
Leo was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Raymond and Anthony.
He is survived by two sisters, Lillian Piwon and Lorraine Lisdahl; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
VISITATION: 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4, 2013 until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with a recitation of the Rosary at 10:30 a.m. Interment service will be at New Calvary Cemetery, followed with a luncheon in the church social hall. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Queen of Peace Catholic Church or Queen of Peace School.'The family has selected Nelson Funeral Care to assist them with arrangements.
