Lawrence Walter Klosner, 94, of Esko died Tuesday Oct. 22, 2013 at his home.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Doris; a stillborn son; his parents Walter and Elizabeth Klosner; his five sisters, Laura Terwey, Rose Bambeck, Marie Fox, Libby Terwey, and Vera Struckenberg Koch; and brother, Jack, Paul, and Francis Klosner.
Lawrence is survived by his two daughters; Peggy (Roy) Laine of Bethel and Diane George of Evanston, Wyo.; eight grandchildren, Brian (Lisa) Laine of Redondo Beach, Calif., Jason Laine of Hopkins, Minn., Wendy (Dylan Nau) Laine of New Brighton, Minn., Chad (Nicholle) George of Evanston, Wyo., Dylan (Jennifer) George of Rockville, Maryland., Orion (Rachel) George of Port Angeles, Wash., Katrina (Timothy) Mayer of Monterey, Calif., and Ben (Rachel) of Tigard, Ore.; nine great grandchildren; siblings, Aggie (Carley) Tabatt of Little Falls, Raymond Klosner of Moundview, Erna(Bob) Munholand of Cross Lake, and many nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2013 in St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Esko. Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial service Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013 also in the church. Arrangements entrusted to Atkins-Northland Funeral Home.
