She was born in Duluth, on Dec. 12, 1944 to Harold and Ruth Engblom.
She graduated from Hermantown High School in 1962. Donna had worked for Lake City Towing in Canal Park, Starvin Marvins, and at the Base Exchange. She was a member of the Proctor Moose, and the American Legion Post No. 71. Donna had played league cribbage for Mr D's.
Donna is survived by her husband David Riley; sisters Mary Busch of Munger and Ardys (Calvin) Wolfe of Hermantown; nephews Eddie Busch of Munger and James Wolfe of Hermantown; nieces Lynn (Buck) Hirdler of Hermantown and Diane (Jason) Davis of Duluth; Daves family and friends, and great-nieces and nephews Chase and Matti Hirdler, Jacob and Katie Busch, Caitlin Stingley, Hannah and J.J. Davis.
