Mary Karen Michaud, 74, a Port Wing, Wis., resident, died Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, in Solvay Hospice House in Duluth.
Mary was born Nov. 11, 1938, in Red Wing, Minn. She graduated from the College of St. Scholastica with a degree in nursing. She worked a variety of nursing jobs throughout the years and finished her career working as a QRC in worker's compensation. Mary married David J. Michaud July 1, 1960.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Luverne Haas.
Mary is survived by her husband, David; daughter's Yvonne (Glen) Novak of Duluth and Molly (John) Bell of Sanford, Fla.; son Daniel Michaud of Inver Grove Heights, Minn.; grandchildren Dexter, Sidney and Logan Bell; sisters Elizabeth Boxrud and Dorothy Arendt; and brothers George O'Reilly and John Haas, and their families.
The family wishes to thank the staff of I Wish Home Care and Solvay Hospice House for their services.
VISITATION: 2 until the 3 p.m. service Saturday, Sept. 14, at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, Duluth. Memorials preferred to the National Parkinson Foundation.
