Carroll A. Bridge, 81 of Superior, died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013 at Essentia St. Mary, Duluth after a short illness, surrounded by her family.
Carroll was born Oct. 9, 1931 in Superior to Richard and Agnes (Carroll) Kuehlthau.
She graduated from Superior Central High School. She worked for St. Germain’s, MP&L and spent most of her time working for Wisconsin Job Service.
Carroll was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church and a former member of its Altar Society. She enjoyed doing needle work for “Love Quilts”; she also enjoyed bird watching and fishing.
Carroll was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Agnes and her brother, Richard who died in 1968.
Carroll is survived by her sons, Tom, Dick and Jim Bridge all of Superior and her sisters, Cecil Kuehlthau and Helen Bergson both of Superior; two nephews, Herb and Paul (Brenda) Bergson.
WAKE PRAYERS: 4 p.m. Monday with visitation continuing until 6 p.m. in St. Francis Church, 2316 E 4th St. Superior. Visitation will continue Tuesday in St. Francis from 10 a.m. to the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are preferred and may be directed to Goodwill, 700 Garfield Ave, Duluth, MN 55802. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, Duluth. (218) 727-3555.
