Lillian M. Salmonson, 76, of Duluth, passed away Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, in Heritage Haven Assisted Living.
Lillian was born Oct. 18, 1936, to Ernest and Cecile Larson. She worked for many years at Frank’s Quality Foods and 20 years at Lake Haven Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles (1999); sister Kathy Dusek; and grandchildren Tracy Watkins and Zachary J. Salmonson.
Lillian is survived by her daughters, Sandy (Del Soiney) Salmonson and Debra (Bob) Watkins; son Dennis (Zina) Salmonson; grandchildren Jacob Salmonson, Christopher Watkins, Nicole Lee (Billy) and Delano Lee (Renae); great-grandchildren Malena, Liam and Giuliano; siblings Axel (Nicki) Larson, Charlene Gelenau, Rosemary (Mike) Larson, Alice (Jim) Martin, Mona Hinshaw and Ben (Leah) Larson; as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Heritage Haven, especially Karen, Bertha, Alice and Bonnie. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
VISITATION: 9 until the 10 a.m. funeral service Thursday, Aug. 22, in First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 4100 Grand Ave., Duluth. Interment will be at Oneota Cemetery.
