Richard "Dick" Daniels, 74, of Cloquet, passed into Eternity on Monday evening after a brief battle with cancer.
Dick was Maintenance Supervisor at Queen of Peace Church in Cloquet and enjoyed working with all of the staff and parishioners. He especially enjoyed being around the children in the school. Dick was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Greg; and one sister, Mary Ann Heyn.
He is survived by loving wife Cecelia; daughters April and Melanie; son Mark; brothers Larry, Roger, Bill and David; sisters Toni and Dianne and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.The family wishes to thank all of the wonderful doctors and nurses at Community Memorial Hospital in Cloquet and St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth for their loving care and concern. We especially send our sincere thanks to the staff of Sunnyside Nursing Home and to the Hospice volunteers for their loving care, they were all our Angels.
VISITATION: 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013 until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Cloquet. Interment service will be at New Calvary Cemetery followed with a luncheon in the church social hall. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations to the Queen of Peace Maintenance Fund.
