Adam was born May 6, 1986 in Duluth, to Norbert and Rebecca (Steinkopf) Philipsek.
He grew up in Lake Nebagamon, Wis., graduating from Northwestern High School in Maple, Wis. Adam moved to St. Cloud in 2004 to attended college. He was currently attending the St. Cloud Technical College. He married Erin Gilman on Aug. 13, 2011 in Foley. The couple has two children.
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers.
Adam is survived by his wife, Erin, St. Cloud; his children, Faith and Jackson Philipsek, St. Cloud; his parents, Norb and Rebeca Philipsek, Lake Nebagamon, Wis.; brother, Jeffrey Philipsek, Duluth; sister, Megan Philipsek, Minneapolis; grandmothers, Corynne Philipsek, Sartell and Ruth Steinkoph, St. Cloud.
SERVICE: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday June 26, in St. Paul’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Burial will be at Assumption Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in St. Cloud and again after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the church in St. Cloud. St. Paul’s Parish prayers will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home in St. Cloud.
