James "Jimmy" Lapcinski, 47, of Duluth passed away unexpectedly in his home on Sunday, April 21, 2013.
Jimmy was born in Duluth, on March 7, 1966 to Phillip and Florence (Lavigne) Lapcinski.
He attended Denfeld High School and graduated in 1984.
He was employed with Kemps Fish Company and Tyson Chicken Company of Duluth for numerous years. Over the last decade Jimmy was employed with Superior Packing Company of Duluth.
He was an avid Vikings, Twins, and Wild fan. He enjoyed spending time with his dog Bear and friend Anita.
He is preceded in death by his parents and infant brother Charles.
Jimmy is survived by his son, Christopher of Duluth; sister, Jodi Behrendt of Duluth, brothers, Darrell (Andrea) of Prescott, Wis., Jeffery (Robin) of Brooklyn Park, Minn., as well as many other family members and friends.
VISITATION: 2 p.m. until the 3 p.m. memorial service on Monday, May. 6, 2013 in Bell Brothers Funeral Home 601 North 56 Ave West Duluth, MN 55807 with a reception following. Services entrusted to Bell Brothers Funeral Home 218-624-5745
