Joseph S. Misiak, 80, of Cloquet, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013 at his home.
He was born Jan. 18, 1933 in Poland to Jan and Pelagia (Zaremba) Misiak.
Joe served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked at the Northwest Paper/Potlatch Co. and was the Local Union 97 president for over 20 years.
Joe was a member of the Potlatch Quarter Century Club, life member of the Hebert-Kennedy VFW Post 3979, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1163, Carlton County Historical Society, an honorary member of the Suomi Club, and a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Ted, Henry and two infants.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; one brother, John (Carol) Misiak; two sisters-in-law, Janina Misiak and Bernice Misiak; and numerous nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: 10 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2013 from until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
