Kirsten Kvamme Salmi, 38 of Golden Valley, passed away March 23, 2013.
Kirsten was thoughtful, kind, and uniquely perceptive. She was at the center of her family circle. In everything she did, Kirsten put great thought and care towards the feelings and needs of others. Gatherings at her home were marked by detailed planning and simple eloquence. Her gardens and her home reflected an insight into beauty that was a gift to family and visitors. Kirsten and her husband David were enthusiastic travelers, visiting over 30 countries in their 13 years of wonderful, loving marriage. Kirsten carried those passions to her career as a Buyer at Target, where she worked after graduatiing from Augsburg, majoring in Psychology and Religion. Kirsten was deeply loved by family and friends and will be terribly missed.
She is survived by her husband David; parents Joel and Marion Kvamme; brother Soren Kvamme; father-in-law Stan (Sally) Salmi; mother-in-law Kathy (Don) Roberts and brother-in-law Steve Salmi.
