Jack M. Armstrong, 70, of Cloquet, passed away unexpectedly at his home. He was born June 23, 1942, in Bloomington, Ill., to James and Hazel Armstrong. Jack worked in the mines on the Iron Range. He also worked as an independent truck driver before working for LCS Coaches, Inc. of Cloquet. Jack was a member of the Corvette’s North and Classic Corvette’s Clubs. He headed up the annual fall color run for the Corvette club.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Virginia Eisenach Armstrong; children, Kim Beckman of Monroe, Wash., Dawn (Carl) Lindermaur of Wash., Doug (Dee) Eisenach of Biwabik, Minn., Craig Lindahl of Fort Myers, Fla., Carol Anderson of Cloquet, Minn., Gloria Fisher of Fort Myers, Fla.; 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
VISITATION: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2013, in Nelson Funeral Care and continuing 12 noon until the 1 p.m. Funeral Service Wednesday, March 27, also at Nelson Funeral Care, 1004 Cloquet Ave., Cloquet, Minn.
