On March First, 2013, heaven gained another angel when Nancy Alice McRae (Weme) walked through God’s front door.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Steven McRae; daughter Robin McRae and her son Riley; son Scott McRae and his children Kaleb and Brichelle, and son Richard (Jennifer) McRae and their children Isaac, Max and Jasper. Nancy is also survived by her sisters Barbara (Jess) Ramirez and Pamela Sakells, and her brothers Ronald (Cindy) Weme and Richard(Julie) Weme, as well as many nieces and nephews who adored her.
Nancy was preceded in death by her loving parents, Edward and Lois Weme, and sister Lorie Weme.
Nancy was the most beautiful person, inside and out. She was caring, compassionate and selfless. Nancy would always put the needs of those she loved before her own and her greatest pleasure on Earth was spending time with the family she loved more than anything. She touched the lives of many throughout her life. She was stronger and more independent than she gave herself credit for; she loved unconditionally and was a true friend to many. To her family and friends she was also known for her baking, her hugs that never stopped and being exceptionally good at playing Words with Friends. Nancy will be greatly missed and remembered always by those who loved her dearly; her family and friends and of course her little dog Josie who never left her side and is still waiting for her to come home.
Visitation: 8:30 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. Funeral Service Tuesday at Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home. Burial at Oneota Cemetery.
