Linda E. Sarette, 66, of Duluth, passed away with her husband by her side on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 in Franciscan Health Center.

Linda E. Sarette, 66, of Duluth, passed away with her husband by her side on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 in Franciscan Health Center.

Linda was born in Duluth on April 13, 1946 to Thomas and Amanda (Anderson) Marsen.

She graduated from old Central High School in 1964. Linda was a fixture in the downtown community and met many friends there. A genuine caregiver, Linda engaged in one on one kindness and was always there when people needed her. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family with all of her heart.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Linda is survived by her husband John of 40 years; children Johanna (Dustin) Johnson, Paul, Amanda (Doug) Sundin; step-daughter Jonnia Sarette; grandchildren, Miles and Amelia Sundin; brothers, John (Marge) Marsen and David Marsen as well as many extended family members and friends.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: will be held in the spring. Services entrusted to Cremation Society of Minnesota 624-5200

John, Knowing that you just lost your mother, this has to be a very difficult time for you and your family. Within a two year period, I lost my mother, son, dad, and Godmother. My condolences. Mary Karulak
