Lois Agnes Socha, 83, of Saginaw, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 in her home with her family near by.

Lois Agnes Socha, 83, of Saginaw, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 in her home with her family near by.

Lois was born on Jan. 20, 1930 to Leslie and Millicent (Despins) Randall in Duluth.

She married Joseph Socha on Aug. 17, 1968 in St. Benedict's Catholic Church.

Lois was employed as a buyer for Wahl's Department Store and then as a civilian with the U.S. Air Force as a keypunch operator working at the Airbase in Duluth until retiring in 1969 to stay home with her children.

She was a member of St. Raphael's Catholic Church and its St. Teresa Circle, V.F.W. Auxiliary and was an assistant Girl Scout leader in her younger years.

She was preceded death by her parents; her sister, Mary (Lou) Parker and her brother, Irving "Buddy" Randall.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph; her daughter, Crystal Socha of Rochester, Minn.; her son, Mark Socha of Saginaw, Minn.; her sisters, Sr. Almira Randall of Duluth, Patricia (Pete) Tamayo of Tucson, Ariz., Irene Randall of Duluth; sister in-law, Monica Gauthier and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

VISITATION: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013 with the rosary at 5 p.m. in Dougherty Funeral Home chapel and will continue Monday, Feb. 25, 2013 in St. Raphael's Catholic Church from 10 am until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial.

Entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Duluth.
