Robert S. “Bob” Buran, 82, of Duluth, passed away on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at Viewcrest Health Center with his family by his side.
Robert S. “Bob” Buran, 82, of Duluth, passed away on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at Viewcrest Health Center with his family by his side.
He was born in Duluth on April 24, 1930 to Helmer and Sigrud Buran.
Bob was an over the road truck driver all of his life. He was an avid trapper, fisherman, gardener and deer hunter. He also enjoyed cutting wood and working part time at the Plant Place during the summer. Bob could talk to anyone. He dearly loved his family and was an excellent husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers and three sisters.
Robert is survived by his wife Besse of 63 years; two sons, Russell (Kathryn) of Duluth and Dale (Penny) of Cloquet; grandchildren, Stephanie, Jamie, Kelly, Matt and Kris; great-grandchildren, John Mason, Anna, Mija, Drew, Tucker, TJ and Macy; step-grandchildren, Dawn, Derek and Dara; twin brother, Russell (Tinker); sister Eunice Hoban; special friend Hans Eng, as well as many other extended family members and friends.
VISITATION: 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. memorial service on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 in First Presbyterian Church 300 East Second St. Duluth. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to First Presbyterian Church. Services entrusted to Cremation Society of Minnesota 624-5200

Besse; So sorry to read of Bobs passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family; I am sorry for not getting back to you after your letter-misplaced it and didn't have the address.
