Lois Marie Berg, 80, of Duluth, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013 at the Benedictine Health Center.

She was born in Albert Lea, Minn., on June 5, 1932 to Loy T. and Lillian R. (Lund) Pfeiffer.
Lois married Henry N. Berg and they have been Duluth residents since 1955. Lois was a pharmacist and had worked at St. Luke’s Hospital, Duluth Clinic East/Oberg Pharmacy, and Boyce Pharmacy, retiring from there after 25 years.
She was a member of First Lutheran Church where she was very active in many aspects. She was a world class bread maker, and an avid blueberry picker. Lois enjoyed rosemaling, fishing and camping, traveling and spending weekends at Bear Dung Lodge.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Johanne; and her loving husband Henry.
Lois is survived by her five sons Daniel, Douglas (Chelly), David (Elizabeth), Peter (Julie), and Paul; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and her sisters Kathleen and Mary.
VISITATION: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 until the 12 noon funeral service in First Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Park Hill Cemetery. Memorials directed to Twin Ports Rosemaling Society, c/o Jane Cox, 4219 London Rd, Duluth, MN. 55804 would be appreciated. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, Duluth, 727-3555.
