Ellen Elma Anderson, 86, of Grand Rapids, Minn., died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 at Grand Village.
Ellen was born in 1927 to John and Helmi Ollila in Orr, Minn.
She was united in marriage to Marvin E. Anderson on Dec. 21, 1946 in Duluth. Ellen and Marvin lived in Rhinelander, Wis., Chicago, Ill., and St. Joseph, Minn. Ellen moved to Grand Rapids, Minn., in 2004.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Marvin in 2000; and son John in 1992.
Ellen is survived by her brother, Les (Ilene) Ollila of Grand Rapids, Minn.; sister-in-law, Audrey Ollila of Virginia, Minn.; numerous, nephews, nieces and cousins.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: will be held at a later date.
