KATHLEEN S. "KATHY" (ANDERSON) BLACKBURN

Kathleen S. “Kathy” (Anderson) Blackburn, 56, of Superior, formerly of Duluth went to be with her Lord, Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013 while at St. Luke’s Hospital with her loving daughter and sister at her side.

Kathleen S. “Kathy” (Anderson) Blackburn, 56, of Superior, formerly of Duluth went to be with her Lord, Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013 while at St. Luke’s Hospital with her loving daughter and sister at her side.

She was born Sept. 28, 1956 in Hannibal, Mo., to Robert and Maxine (Geroux) Anderson.

Kathy was a Certified Health Unit Coordinator at St. Luke’s Hospital for over 30 years.

Kathy was preceded in death by an infant son, Matthew and her parents.

She is survived by her daughter, Jessica (Aaron) Neiding of South Range, Wis.; two grandchildren, Katelyn and Alexi; her sister, Patricia Rogers of Superior and brothers, Raymond Anderson and Douglas Anderson, both of Duluth and Patrick Henning of Superior; nephews, Dustin (Jenn) Rogers and Derek Rogers; nieces, Emily Rogers and Nola (Adam) Rozelle.

The family would like to thank the staff and Kathy’s friends at St. Luke’s I.C.U. , who tried to make her more comfortable.

GATHERING OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS: 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. memorial service Saturday, Feb. 9, in Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Avenue, 624-5200. Memorials are preferred to the National Kidney Foundation.
