I knew Roy though my brother, Jerry Soukkala who had coffee with him every morning. They became good friends and it was so fun have coffee with them when I came up from New London where I live. I was so glad I did that the last time I was there which was the early part of January. Roy always shared on a heartfelt level, had a good sense of humor.and was honest and caring. You have my deepest sympathy. I would be there if it wasn't so far to drive. I'll miss Roy and I know Jerry will miss him a lot.
