Eileen C. Turbes, passed away Jan. 19, 2013 in Omaha, Neb.

She was born Nov. 22, 1922.

Preceded in death by husband, Calvin C. Turbes; brothers, Glen H. Cooper and Paul R. Cooper; son-in-law, James Shimerdla.

Survived by sisters, Carol Wolff and Nancy A. Cooper; brother, Daniel Cooper (Cathy); children Nancy Shimerdla, Paul Turbes (Cindy), Mark Turbes, Mary Margaret Friel (John), Barbara Turbes, Peter Turbes (Janet), Beth Holmes (Loren), John Turbes (Deb), and Bernie Turbes (Sheila); 23 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

GATHERING OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, with Vigil service at 7 p.m. in the West Center Chapel in Omaha. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 24 in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Omaha. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Omaha. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
