Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, in the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave., Duluth, (218) 624-5200.

Visitation: One hour prior to the service.

Lee, Vicki, and Lisa, We have many fond memories of our families celibrating together while growing up. Our hearts are heavy now, but our many memories will last forever. Our thoughts are with you. Steve and Neva Swanson

To Lee Fadden and to the family of Karen Fadden, I am the oldest daughter of Don and Fran Pinther. My dad and Lee worked together at the bank, and they have been long time friends of your mother and dad. Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss. Your mom was such a trooper, and she kept up the ongoing battle with her cancer with a courage and iron will strength that was truly amazing. Our folks used to meet up in Itasca and camp together for many years. A few years we joined them for a day or two, and sat around the campfires jabbering and visiting. Your mom was always so fun loving and such a friendly, welcoming soul. Lee is in our thoughts and prayers as well as your family as you deal with your loss of your mom and grandmother. Keeping your family in our prayers. We will not be able to attend the funeral due to the extreme cold temperatures and the need to travel up from Minneapolis.
