LUCILY D. MALKOVICH

Lucily D. Malkovich, 46, of Duluth passed away at the Benedictine Health Center, Thursday morning Jan. 10, 2013, after a courageous battle against Amyloidosis.

She was born on Dec. 27, 1966 in Cebu, Philippines.

Lucily was a graduate of Southwestern University in Cebu with a degree in Business Administration, majoring in banking and finance.

Lucy married Ronald Malkovich in 1992 and has worked at St. Luke's Hospital in various positions for the past 18 years. She loved to cook and even completed a course at a culinary school in the Philippines.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald and her mother, Cleofe Diola Banaag.

Survivors include her father, Dominciano Banaag; two brothers, Solomon and Samuel; a sister Gerlinda; her stepdaughter, Dr. Amber Malkovich; several nieces and nephews and her many wonderful friends.

SERVICE: 12 Noon Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 in Hope United Methodist Church. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral in the church. Entombment will be at Sunrise Memorial Park in Hermantown.
