DONNA MAE (DAGEN) SWANSON

Donna Mae (Dagen) Swanson, 92, of Arden Hills formerly of Duluth passed away Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013.

She was born March 29, 1920 to Clarence and Ida Dagen in Donaldson, Minn. Donna is a graduate of Denfeld High school and UMD. She was an elementary school teacher for Duluth Public Schools.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Bert, and her brothers Richard and Jim.

She is survived by children Dawn (Adrian) Kuczynski, Joan Swanson; grandchildren David (Taylor) Kuczynski, Greg (Emily August) Kuczynski, Lisa (Brad) Astin, Kate (Leo) Amar; five great-granddaughters; and many family and friends.

Donna Loved her family, her friends and working in her beautiful garden.

SERVICE: 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14 in First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 4100 Grand Ave. Duluth with visitation one hour prior. A private family interment will be at Sunrise Memorial Park.
