Hazel M. Kelley, 94 of Cloquet, passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at Inter-Faith Care Center in Carlton.
Hazel M. Kelley, 94 of Cloquet, passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at Inter-Faith Care Center in Carlton.
She was united in marriage to Merlin Kelley on April 21, 1934.
Hazel was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She had a great sense of humor, loved to tell jokes (the same ones over and over) and had an infectious laugh. Hazel was a very sweet and loving person and will be missed greatly.
Hazel was preceded in death by her husband Merlin; children Hazel (Goose Ganter), Carol (Roger Olson), Mary (Kenneth Godbout), Dick (Judy Kelley) and George; two granddaughters; and one great-grandson.
She is survived by her son-in-law Kenneth Godbout; 18 grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren. Hazel also leaves behind her extended family at Evergreen Knoll, which she was very fond of.
VISITATION: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013 in Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet. The visitation will resume on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013 from 12 Noon until the 1 p.m. memorial service also in Nelson Funeral Care. A luncheon will follow in the fellowship room.
