Peggy and family, my deepest sympathy to all of you at this time. I certainly remember Joe as being a great prankster - my mom was the recipient of one of them....a baby duck meant for me at the age of 6 or 7. My parents tried to return him back but he found his way back and he grew to be the neighborhood mascot! I also remember great times at Rose Lake with the family. I know that my parents (Alder and Audrey) where at Heaven's Gate to welcome Joe home. May your memories sustain you and may God hold you all in the palm of His hand. Dawn (Hultstrom) Pearce

Dear Peggy and family, We are so very sorry to hear of Joe's passing. He was one of the sweetest guys we've ever known--caring, smart, funny--the real deal. We can't imagine how much you all will miss him. Wish we were closer and could be there on Wednesday and beyond. Hugs and prayers across the miles.
