Marcella K. Kezele, 90, Grand Rapids, formerly of Nashwauk, died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012 at Evergreen Terrace in Grand Rapids.
Marcella K. Kezele, 90, Grand Rapids, formerly of Nashwauk, died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012 at Evergreen Terrace in Grand Rapids.
She was born in Stearns County, Minn., to Henry and Katie (Gangl) Kasper on Jan. 20, 1922 and was a longtime Nashwauk resident.
Marcella was a member of St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church.
She is survived by three children, Myrna (William) Wilson, Oak Harbor, Wash., Karen Kezele, Walker, Minn., and Greg (Mary) Kezele, Pine City, Minn.; two grandchildren, Elizza (Derek) Golden and Greg (Lisa) Wilson; three great grandchildren, Justine Wilson, and Noah and Emma Golden.
Marcella was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph in 1973 her brother, Lawrence Kasper, and her parents.
SERVICE: 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012 in St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, Nashwauk, with the Rev. Dennis Hoffman celebrating the Mass of Christian Burial. Visitation will be in the Church on Saturday for one hour before Mass. Burial will be at Nashwauk Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, William Wilson, Greg Wilson, Derek Golden, Martin Stimac, Randy Schroetter, and Jamie Schroetter. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home.
